In this module I experimented with patterns using tape. I positioned the delicate pieces of material to form simple but effective outcomes. The limited use of colours in particular the red, yellow and blue palette was influenced by pop art.
The outcome of this brief was to produce one of our designs onto the back of a chair , however only using half of the space provided. My design is pictured on the right side of the furniture. The two designs juxtapose hugely. For example the patterned side appears to be more detailed due to the heavy use of overlapping lines, in comparison to the text on the left side.
